Our Religious School provides a Jewish education for members’ children from Kindergarten through High School. The School’s educational philosophy is based on these three ideals:
- developing a positive Jewish feeling and attitude
- learning significant Jewish knowledge
- promoting involvement in and service to the Jewish community.
Our professional teaching staff works closely with the Rabbi, Cantor, School Director, and Religious School Committee to guarantee that our children receive a strong foundation in Hebrew language (oral, reading and writing), prayer, Jewish history, and the observance of Jewish rituals, customs, and ceremonies.
Our teachers use the most modern teaching methods, audio-visual materials, hands-on activities, and other teaching aids. The curriculum is enriched by special programs in art and music, assemblies, holiday celebrations, and special projects and activities for each grade level.
During the year, each class holds a special Parent and Child Together (PACT) program which gives each child an opportunity to study a Jewish topic together with his/her parents.
